Alyasa (Elisha)
The Favored
Prophet Alyasa (Elisha, peace be upon him) was a prophet to the Israelites who succeeded Prophet Ilyas. He is mentioned twice in the Quran among the righteous prophets.
Alyasa continued the mission of Ilyas, calling the Israelites to the worship of Allah alone. He is praised in the Quran as one of the chosen and excellent prophets.
While the Quran does not provide extensive details about his life, Islamic tradition and Biblical sources describe him as a prophet who performed many miracles and guided his people with wisdom.
