Daily Duas
Essential supplications for daily life
Morning Duas
Asbahna wa-asbahal-mulku lillah, walhamdu lillah, la ilaha illallahu wahdahu la shareeka lah
We have entered the morning and the whole kingdom of Allah has entered the morning, and praise is for Allah. There is no god but Allah alone, without partner.
Allahumma bika asbahna, wa bika amsayna, wa bika nahya, wa bika namootu, wa ilaykan-nushoor
O Allah, by You we enter the morning, by You we enter the evening, by You we live, by You we die, and to You is the resurrection.
Evening Duas
Amsayna wa-amsal-mulku lillah, walhamdu lillah, la ilaha illallahu wahdahu la shareeka lah
We have entered the evening and the whole kingdom of Allah has entered the evening, and praise is for Allah. There is no god but Allah alone, without partner.
Allahumma bika amsayna, wa bika asbahna, wa bika nahya, wa bika namootu, wa ilaykal-maseer
O Allah, by You we enter the evening, by You we enter the morning, by You we live, by You we die, and to You is the final return.
Before Sleep
Bismika Allahumma amootu wa ahya
In Your name, O Allah, I die and I live.
Allahumma qinee 'athabaka yawma tab'athu 'ibadak
O Allah, protect me from Your punishment on the Day You resurrect Your servants.
Upon Waking
All praise is for Allah who gave us life after having taken it from us and unto Him is the resurrection.
Food Duas

Alhamdu lillahil-lathee at'amana wa saqana wa ja'alna muslimeen
All praise is for Allah who fed us, gave us drink, and made us Muslims.
Travel Duas
Subhanal-lathee sakhkhara lana hatha wa ma kunna lahu muqrineen, wa inna ila rabbina lamunqaliboon
Glory be to the One Who has subjected this for us, for we could never have accomplished this by ourselves. And to our Lord is our final return.
