Eating & Drinking Duas

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ

In the name of Allah...

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ فِي أَوَّلِهِ وَآخِرِهِ

In the name of Allah at the beginning and at the end of it...

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنِي هَٰذَا وَرَزَقَنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلَا قُوَّةٍ

All praise is due to Allah who fed me this and provided it for me without any might or power on my part...

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ حَمْدًا كَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ

All praise is due to Allah, abundant, pure and blessed praise...

اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَهُمْ فِيمَا رَزَقْتَهُمْ، وَاغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَارْحَمْهُمْ

O Allah, bless them in what You have provided for them, forgive them and have mercy on them...

ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ وَثَبَتَ الْأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ

The thirst has gone, the veins have been moistened and the reward is confirmed, if Allah wills...

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي جَعَلَهُ عَذْبًا فُرَاتًا بِرَحْمَتِهِ، وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْهُ مِلْحًا أُجَاجًا...

All praise is due to Allah who made it sweet and fresh by His mercy, and did not make it salty and bitter due to our sin...

اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِيهِ وَزِدْنَا مِنْهُ

O Allah, bless us in it and give us more of it...
